Gourmando Launcing FRIDAY, Preview NOW

Kickstarter has not yet returned the project, but the update says I should have it approved by today. To give everyone a chance to look over the whole project I am launching tomorrow.
Trade Paperbacks should be ready to ship in January, but I am keeping the February deadline. The Artists Edition is a more complex book as a limited number include slipcases, a plate and shrink wrapping. We are putting a March ship date on those. Right now everything has a February shipping date, but getting timelines from printers (USA, Canada, UK, and PRC), we are changing that (today) to March to be on the safe side.
EARLY BIRD:
As before, we have 3 tiers of pricing. Early bird runs Friday - Sunday. Kickstarter has a new ADD ON feature so you can order as many extra copies of the book at the same low price as you'd like. After Sunday the price of the Add On also goes up.
SIGNATURES:
We will be flying Mike Baron to Phoenix to sign with Steve. We are charging $5 per signature per item. We also had quite a few requests for items to be personalized so we are charging $10 per item for that. Your order will be special handled to ensure the dedication is done correctly.
GIFTS:
When you order the book you will receive a digital card upon completing checkout that you can print and give as a gift in lieu of the physical book. We have a "I Want it for Christmas" option if you would like all your extras mailed ahead! That comes with a set of 10 santa cards (Finishing that card up today!), and will come with physical, signed copies of the certificate.
SHIPPING:
Shipping is so expensive. We lost thousands on our last project as anticipated shipping is closer to double what we budgeted. Unfortunately, that means we have decided to charge for shipping on this project. That allows you to purchase more books at a lower per book cost without having shipping cost worked into each and every book.
STRETCH GOALS:
I know we haven't shipped yet, but what was your favorite stretch goal from this (or past, or other) project? I wasn't expecting the coin to be so awesome, but everyone loves it so we're doing another! Our ultimate goal is $150,000 which gives us back the $50,000 we paid out of pocket already, funds the printing and funds forward the Nexus: Thuneworld (Strips Volume 2!). Help us fill in the gaps!

YAHOO! Books are in house! We are going to start shipping tomorrow. We will send out shipping notifications the day before your item actually ships to give you time to make changes, so please watch for your confirmation.
We are starting with the orders that had posters as those are forced through because we had to ship the prints. The next group we've singled out is the one that only has the books.
If you're not following THE COMING OF GOURMANDO, we reached our 4th stretch goal last night and are adding pencils into the book so the hardcover will include not only inks, but colors and pencils as well!

Shipping Update

I am currently waiting to hear from the printer in Ottawa, ON, Canada. Last I heard the books were done and being sent to the binder and they needed about 2 weeks to bind them. That was 3 weeks ago.
----UPDATE ---- They have 900 books ready and will have the balance completed this week.
In the meantime, since we have everything else including shipping supplies in house we are slowly transferring orders over and boxing them up so when the books do arrive we only have to put the books in and the order is ready to go. Oversized prints have to ship separately so they are going out TODAY!

Needless to say I won't be using them again for our next project: NEXUS: THE RETURN OF GOURMANDO launching in October. Hoping to launch October 15th so GOURMANDO books can be here by Christmas.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience. Books will get a quick turnover once they are in house! Let's get excited about the 90 page Gourmando series finally seeing print.
